Joriba Bakery is a growing family-owned company specialising in the production of high-quality bakery products. To further strengthen and professionalise our production organisation, we are looking for a hands-on Production Manager who enjoys being present on the production floor.

Your role

As Production Manager, you will play a central role within the production department. You will spend most of your time on the production floor and work closely with the production teams to ensure an efficient, high-quality and safe production environment.

Your responsibilities:

• Managing and supporting the production teams on a daily basis.
• Deploying employees efficiently and preparing and managing staff schedules.
• Monitoring production volumes, yields, quality and deadlines.
• Motivating, coaching and supporting employees.
• Quickly identifying operational issues and helping to find practical solutions.
• Initiating and following up on improvements to working methods and production processes.
• Developing and maintaining a strong culture of quality, food safety and workplace safety.
• Ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration within the production department.

Your administrative and supporting duties:

• Preparing and updating recipe and product sheets.
• Identifying and documenting machine parameters and settings.
• Developing procedures and work instructions for existing, temporary and new production lines.
• Clearly documenting production processes and production-related knowledge, ensuring that this knowledge is securely embedded within the organisation.

Your profile

• You have relevant experience in a production environment, preferably within the food industry.
• Experience in an industrial bakery or a comparable production environment is a strong asset.
• You are a natural and people-oriented leader who can motivate, engage and guide employees.
• You enjoy working close to the operation and are visibly present on the production floor.
• You have a strong focus on structure, quality, safety and efficiency.
• You have excellent organisational skills, can set priorities and maintain a clear overview.
• You are solution-oriented and take responsibility.
• You communicate fluently in Dutch and French.
